It's been another normal day in the shop (ha!). There have been a steady flow of customers to delight and entertain and one dog, Daisy, who called in for her usual "Irish Rover Meaty Treat". Today Daisy was celebrating her 7th birthday so she was in the right place to make it special!
Most unfortunate incident of the week so far: an individual working in the shop told Mr Paul Sturgeon of Sovereign Sports (who was being particularly annoying at the time) to go away and "polish his balls", perfectly reasonable you would have thought given that he owns a sports shop. The collective gasp and one snigger from the bus queue may have suggested otherwise. Oops. The other problem with this incident is that as Bridget is incarcerated in hospital who can possibly bear the blame? Helen............are you there?
